1. The holiday contract is a contact made between you and the owners of “Coniston 1” and will be made when the owner accepts your booking and deposit payment and sends you a booking confirmation number.
2. A non-returnable deposit of £100 is required at the time of booking. The balance is required no later than 6 weeks before the commencement of your holiday. If booking is within 6 weeks of the start of holiday then the full amount is payable. A booking confirmation will be sent immediately on receipt of deposit.
If the balance is not received by the due date then your holiday will be treated as a cancellation.
3. If you have to cancel your holiday the owner must be notified, as soon as possible, initially by phone or e-mail, quoting your confirmation number.
a. if you cancel your holiday more than 4 weeks prior to the start date, you
will forfeit your deposit.
b. Cancellation less than 4 weeks prior to the start date, you will be
responsible for the full payment unless the owner can re-let the lodge.
4. If you wish to change your booked holiday we will do our best to meet your requirements.
5. All gas, electricity, bedding, hand/bath towels and tea towels are included in the costs. If you want to use the swimming pool/gym facility you must bring your own towels.
6. Free guest passes for the Leisure facilities are included in the price.
7. Bookings are accepted only for the party named and are not transferable. The person making the booking agrees to accept the lodge/park rules and booking conditions on behalf of all members of the party. Park Terms of Condition can be found on www.slholidays.co.uk/content/termsandconditions.pdf
8. The White Cross Bay Park is intended for family and adult holidays only. Single sex groups are not accepted unless arranged and agreed when booking
9. The lodge shall not be used by more than 4 people.
10. We reserve the right to terminate a holiday without compensation, where unreasonable or anti-social behaviour by those persons named on the booking or their guests impair the enjoyment, comfort or health of other guests.
11. Unfortunately due to steps up to the lodge and restrictions in the lodge it is not suitable for wheelchair access.
12. All guests are expected to treat the Lodge and site with care so that others may continue to enjoy them. Any accidental damage must be reported to reception/owner immediately, so we can arrange repair or replacement. The Lodge will be inspected at the end of your stay and any loss, damage or extra cleaning may be charged for.
13. If the lodge cannot be made available for the holiday period or any part because of circumstances beyond the owner’s control, the owner will refund the cost of the Lodge or an appropriate proportion. The owner will not be liable for more than the amount paid for the hire of the Lodge.
14. The owner of the Lodge accepts no responsibility for any accident or injury to, or illness of, any guest or any other person on the site, nor do they accept any responsibility for any loss or damage to the guest's or any other person's property, including vehicles, whilst on the site.
15. Whilst we attempt to ensure that the information contained in the online website is accurate and up to date, we are not responsible for any errors, or omissions.
16. For Health and safety reasons Smoking is not permitted in the Lodge or public areas on the Park.
17. The Lodge is available from 4pm on date of arrival and we ask that you vacate your accommodation by 10am on your day of departure to allow time for the Lodge to be made available for the next guests. If you expect to arrive after 6pm please let the Park know to arrange key collection.
18. We reserve the right of access to the Lodge at any time under circumstances of emergency
19. We are a dog friendly lodge and welcome up to 2 well behaved dogs but in the interests of hygiene and the comfort of other guests, they must not be allowed on the furniture / beds or be left unattended in the Lodge.
Please be advised that dogs are not allowed in the communal/playing areas, restaurant, bar or leisure centre. When you exercise your pet it must be on a lead and in the charge of an adult.
Note: Dogs that are specified in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted on the Park. This includes all breeds of Pit Bulls, Rottweiler, Japanese Tosa, Dogue Argentino, Fila Brasileiro.
20. For your safety and the safety of others, only electrical equipment supplied in the Lodge is to be used.
21. Private parking is available at the side of the lodge for two cars .
22. Guests should familiarise themselves with the Park Rules, a copy of which is available in the Lodge
